How to Print Your Custom Card

A 3D-printed card has its own thickness, which can be adjusted to your needs. The most important part is the BEVEL—this defines the actual borders and text.

Fonts & Readability

We use Hershey Fonts, originally designed for CRT screens in the 1970s. These fonts work great for 3D printing due to their clear, simple lines with minimal detail.

Bold / Medium / Light – Which to Choose?

Tip: If the text disappears in the slicer preview, switch to a bolder font or increase the size!

Braille

Making a card with Braille can be helpfull to label / tag items. It was an afterthought but a logical one; a 3D printed card is a perfect medium for braille.

Before printing, check your slicer preview:

Printing with Color Changes

To make your card more readable, add a filament change when your printer starts printing the border/text layers.
